Is Dutch a language? I don't know. May be it is.
Anyway I am here. Do you want to learn it? May be you should.
Some people say that Dutch is the official language spoken in the Netherlands and in the Dutch-speaking northern part of Belgium, Flanders.
And some others say that over 20 million people speak Dutch as their first language, so it cannot be a minority language.
But one thing I know that it is not an easy language. If it was an easy language, it was not necessary to have hundreds of Dutch language courses everywhere!
I warn you in advance, don't learn Dutch from me, because I don't speak Dutch.
Scroll it as fast as possible. So you don't have to learn this language.
You should of course spend a lot of money and get the certificates from somewhere, so that they will officially accept you as a person who speak their language. And you have the job opportunities!!! It is just a political economics for civic integration!
What you speak is certainly unimportant, so the grammar is just a game to keep the words together.
When the grammar falls apart, it becomes words and you can have a lot of words and make a dictionary only to know the meaning of the words.
It is not like other languages. If you say a few words other person doesn't understand. It should be correctly pronounced and grammatically placed! That is what makes it difficult.
Don't learn the grammar of the language. It will make you crazy. What you need to learn is, just the language. The language Dutch.
And keep in mind that if you don't speak Dutch, you are an illiterate person! I love languages and I learned a couple of very difficult languages. Learning languages is actually a fun except Dutch. It is a hurdle! Because if you don't follow the rules, you don't know the language!
